For years, our local sewing school has been a hub of creativity, a place where individuals of all ages and backgrounds come together to learn, create, and express themselves through the art of sewing.

However, our community recently faced a significant setback with the closure of our local fabric store. This closure has left us without a reliable source for quality apparel fabrics and notions here in our city. As a result, our students and the wider community are finding it increasingly challenging to access the materials they need to bring their visions to life.

We see this as an opportunity to rally together and make a positive change. Our goal is simple - to expand our fabric selection at The Sewist Mastering the Art of Fabric. By doing so, we aim to provide our community with a diverse array of fabrics and notions. From satins to linens, bold prints to delicate lace, we want to offer something for every creative endeavour.
