Kids & Teens Weekly Classes

2025-2026 (Grades 2 - 12)

We provide a three tier learning system to help our students grow in their skills and knowledge. Every student goes at their own pace advancing to the next teir as they are ready.

Super Sewing Skills Mastery Challenge:

All of our students begin here. The Super Sewing Skills Mastery Challenge allows students to practice and familiarize themselves with basic sewing machine skills, while making projects based on those skills. There are 4 challenges to complete taking students from sewing straight lines to sewing curves to making garments with gathers. Elementary students will repeat the challenges to hone their skills whereas middle school and high school students will move onto the Gold Sewists tier once they complete the Super Sewing Skills Mastery Challenge.

Gold Sewists:

Next, students will grow and expand their abilities by learning intermediate skills, such as buttonholes, zippers, darts and more. Skills will be achieved by making samplers and then applying those skills to a project. Students will begin to learn very basic pattern drafting techniques.

Young Designers:

Eventually, students will have the experience and ability to move on to the Young Designers tier. Here they will learn to create pattern blocks to use for their own designs and patterns.

No matter what level our students are at, we want to empower them in their creativity. We will curate projects based on their interest and goals, allowing each student to follow a personal sewing journey while they are with us.

All tools and equipment will be provided (sewing machines, fabric shears, measuring tapes...), as well, students are able to use the scraps and remnants in the studio for some of their projects. However, students will be responsible for supplying their own fabrics for projects that require more than remnants. Any student enrolled in our Kids & Teens classes will get a 15% discount in our store, including 50% off the remnants section, during the course of the year.

At the end of the year our students will have the opportunity to show off their creations at our annual fashion show.

1 hour class: $690

1.5 hour class: $920

2 hour class (every other week): $730

Sew Together

Learn to sew with your favourite people!

Class times are flexible, and you come when it’s convenient for you.

Choose from variety of fun beginner projects to make. Bags, pillows, stuffies, or even pj bottoms!

We will give you the skills to know how to use a sewing machine, cut out your fabric, and follow a simple pattern.

Materials for most of the projects are provided. For projects where you will need to supply your own fabrics, you will get a 15% discount in our store.

Classes are purchased in packages of 4 sessions for groups of 2, 3, or 4. For larger groups please reach out with your request through the contact page. We can also arrange for 1 or 2 extra sessions if you need to finish up a project.

Class Times: Tuesdays 4:00-5:00pm & Sundays 12:00-1:00pm

You choose which class times you want to attend. We suggest you book consecutive weeks in a row, and you have a 90 day window to book all your classes.

Booking your classes: After you purchase your package you will get a code to use for booking your classes. You can book classes in our booking portal or on this page.
