Just when you thought we were done talking about the fashion show 😏 Anyway, here's a look behind the scenes🧵✨ Between runway rehearsals, last-minute outfit checks, and students sneaking waves at the camera, there was a lot happening before the show even started! #uptownsj #uptownsaintjohn #sewinglessons
The moments that made this year's fashion show so special 💛 Watching students show off what they've worked so hard on never gets old! We couldn't be prouder. #uptownsj #sewinglessons #uptownsaintjohn
For this year's fashion show, we joined in on the fun and made our own outfits to wear on the runway 🧵✨ Since we spend so much time helping others bring their projects to life, it was nice to challenge ourselves and create something too. In this reel, we're breaking down the fabrics, materials, and costs behind Jacquie's outfit! It's a fun reminder that every handmade garment starts as a pile of supplies and a project idea before becoming something you can actually wear. #fabricstore #uptownsj #saintjohnnb
Some of our favourite highlights from the Fashion show 🧵✨ Standout looks, familiar faces, and students who were clearly having the time of their lives on the runway! #sewinglessons #uptownsaintjohn #uptownsj #Sewingclass
What a day. ❤️ Every year, we hope our students leave the runway feeling proud of what they've made. This year, we are glad to say they absolutely did. From the first-timers to the students who have been sewing with us for years, it was incredible to watch everyone step onto the runway with confidence, show off their hard work, and cheer each other on along the way. Thank you to our students for trusting us with their creativity, to their families for their support, and to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. Seeing so many smiling faces- on the runway and in the audience- made all the work that goes into this event worth it. We're so proud of every project and every student who participated. Thank you for helping us end the year on such a high note. ✂️✨
One more look at some of this year's amazing projects before they take to the runway tomorrow 🧵✨ We're so proud of everything our students have accomplished this year and can't wait to celebrate all their hard work at the fashion show! Here's to another year of sewing, creating, and making something to be proud of 💛 #uptownsj #Sewingclass #sewinglessons #uptownsaintjohn
A little flashback as we get ready for another Kids Fashion Show 🧵✨ It feels like just yesterday we were cheering on these students as they showed off everything they had worked so hard to create. From first stitches to finished garments, every project told a story of creativity, learning, and perseverance. Now, with another show just around the corner, we're taking a moment to look back on some memories from last year and get excited for what's to come. We can't wait to do it all again 💛 #uptownsj #uptownsaintjohn #sewinglessons #Sewingclass
