A Homemade Christmas at The Sewist
What are the best Christmas memories made of?
Warm kitchens. Cozy nights. The sound of a sewing machine stitching something special. Laughter. Flour on the floor. Tape stuck to your sleeve. A handmade ornament that’s seen better days, and that you’ll never throw away.
This year, The Sewist is bringing back the spirit of a Homemade Christmas — the kind that lives in memory and smells faintly of cinnamon.
Starting November 15th, the day the Santa Claus Parade passes right by our doors, we’re kicking off a season of workshops designed to help you create the kind of Christmas that feels like home.
Come make:
Classic decorations (think garlands, chains, tree toppers, and more)
Thoughtful gifts (pillows, book bags, zippered pouches)
Reusable wrapping to pass down or use again
No need to be an expert, just bring your love for the season. Our experienced teachers will guide you every step of the way.
